“Blindness separates people from things. Deafness separates people from people.” There is no better way to describe why hearing is of such great importance in our lives than the words of the philosopher Immanuel Kant as translated by Helen Keller.
We are a proud sponsor of the Hearing Loop System at the Waukesha Civic Theatre. With the push of a button, you can hear the words from the stage without background noise, echo, or distortion. With the theater's Hearing Loop System, the actors' dialogue and singing are delivered straight to the telecoil circuit in your hearing aids. Instead of trying to understand the play through the loudspeakers of the large theater, you'll be listening directly through the prescription settings of your hearing aids. You'll get a stronger, direct audio signal from the stage which will make it much easier for you to understand. A round of applause for the Waukesha Civic Theatre for this wonderful addition to their theater on behalf of their patrons who don't want to miss the punch line!
